The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is the international championship of Twenty20 cricket. The event is organised by cricket’s governing body, the ICC. The tournament consists of 16 teams, comprising the top 10 Test-playing nations, and 6 associate or affiliate members chosen through the World T20 Qualifier. This year’s edition of the tournament will be held in India from 18 October to 15 November. All 16 squads for the competition have been finalised and announced.
Pakistan and India were the two teams to make changes to their squads just prior to the deadline. All other teams had already finalised their rosters by 9 October. The Super 12 teams had until 15 October to make any changes. Any further changes will require special ICC permission.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is an important event on the cricket calendar. It provides a chance for the sport’s best players to showcase their skills on the big stage.
